CARROT /LAUKI (bottle gourd) HALWA


CARROT /LAUKI  HALWA:
INGREDIENTS:                 (serves 2-3 )

400  gm carrot/ bottle gourd (lauki)
300  ml milk
100 gm khoya
40  gm raisins
30  gm  ghee
40  gm cashewnuts
Cardamom powder
24  Sugar Free Pellets or equivalent spoons
                           Sugar Free Powder

METHOD:
  • Peel and grate carrot/ bottle gourd. Heat ghee in pan and cook carrot/ bottle gourd and raisins and nuts for 5-10 minutes.
  • Add milk and boil till all moisture evaporates. Add khoya and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from fire. Add sugar free pellets/powder, and cardamom powder. Mix well. Serve hot or cold.
