SANDESH

SANDESH:
INGREDIENTS:              ( serves 4)

1  ltr  skimmed milk
1  cup  sour curd
Cardamom powder
A pinch of saffron (optional)
9-12 crushed Sugar Free Pellets or equal
                     spoons powder

METHOD:
  • Boil the milk. Remove from heat and add the curd. Stir gently till all the milk curdles.
  • Leave covered for some time. Then pour into thin muslin cloth and drain out the water.
  • Mash / blend well.  Add sugar free pellets/ powder, cardamom and saffron and set.
  • Cut into decorative pieces and serve with apple sauce or kheer.
